How to use the welcome booklet

The welcome booklet template takes under an hour to fill in the first time, then gets reused unchanged for every new guest.

Step 1: gather the information once

Before filling in the template, jot down on a draft: the Wi-Fi code, access codes, your usual check-in/check-out times, and two or three neighbourhood tips you mention often. This step takes most of the time; once it's done, the rest goes quickly.

Step 2: adapt the sections to your property

Remove sections that don't apply (parking if you don't have any, pets if you don't allow them) rather than leaving them blank: a concise booklet gets read more than an exhaustive one.

Step 3: make it available

Print it and leave it visible in the property, and also send a digital version before arrival — some guests prefer checking their phone.

Step 4: don't rewrite it for every stay

The booklet stays the same from one guest to the next, unless an appliance changes or a practical detail is updated (new Wi-Fi code, new recommendation). See a filled example to compare with your own version.
