Cleaning schedule for multiple properties

From two properties onwards, cleaning becomes a scheduling problem before it's a cleanliness problem.

Lay out departures and arrivals side by side

A simple table (one row per property, one column per day) is enough to spot days when two cleanings overlap and need an extra person or a shifted time.

Leave a buffer between a departure and an arrival

A minimum one-hour buffer prevents a delayed cleaning (a guest running late, an unexpected issue) from spilling over into the next arrival.

Standardise the cleaning checklist across all your properties

A cleaner working across several properties with the same checklist makes fewer mistakes than with different instructions each time.

Number your key sets

With several properties, a poorly labelled key set wastes a disproportionate amount of time. A number or colour per property, logged on the inventory, solves the problem once and for all.
