Guest arrival checklist
A short host-side list, separate from cleaning, to make sure everything is ready just before arrival.
The day before arrival
Check that cleaning is properly finished (see the cleaning checklist), that heating is set to a welcoming temperature, and that the welcome booklet is visible and up to date.
On the day
Send the day-of message with access codes, and test the Wi-Fi yourself from your phone — a one-minute check avoids a frustrated guest message two hours later.
After arrival
A brief message offering your availability for questions is enough; avoid following up several times the same day, which can feel intrusive.
